MOBY DICK EXHIBITION

After consulting old logbooks, and rereading Melville’s novel, the artist Esteban Ruiz was driven to conceive a collection full of marine evocations making a surprising analysis of marine fauna. This series of cetaceans (sperm whales, dolphins, pilot whales, killer whales, minke whales and fin whales) lead us to a world of dreamed geographies and inner maps that force us to look at ourselves and discover reflections in the clear water.

Twenty pictures from the Spanish artist Esteban Ruiz.
